Nova Navigator is a user friendly device that fulfils the need for a simple, safe, secure, affordable and maintenance-free computing product. This device offers a high speed internet connection provided by Tata Photon that could be either wireline or wireless depending on your preference.

The Nova Navigator doesn't get affected by viruses, doesn't crash, gives a lifelong optimal performance, lets you connect to the internet, and requires no maintenance at all. In fact with this device, you have nothing to worry about.

Nova Navigator uses state-of-the-art technology which doesn't utilise a heavy system configuration, and doesn't compromise on performance either. This device was built such that it's immune to viruses. Also your data is backed-up securely on a server, so losing data is out of the question. Moreover, it's absolutely user friendly, making internet browsing, email and basic software applications more enjoyable and ideal for home use.

  1. What is Nova Navigator?
    Nova Navigator is a simple, plug and play maintenance-free PC that provides office applications, desktop utilities, faster internet browsing, through a broadband internet connection.

  2. What is the warranty provided on Nova Navigator?
    Nova Navigator has a One Year Return to Bench warranty.

  3. What about memory space?
    How can one store data on a server? The customer has an option to store data locally with their USB mass storage devices or the customer can use storage space on the server by choosing from the price plan. The Nova Navigator does not have any inbuilt storage.

  4. How secured is the data on the server?
    Your data is secured with your password and completely protected from any form of unauthorised access with a 128 bit encryption. The user profile and data is password protected and hence files cannot be seen and accessed by any unauthorised user. Also, periodic backups are taken by Novatium for all files.

  5. Can you block internet and games during exams?
    Yes, the customer can login to the Novatium customer portal and block applications as per their choice. The customer can also login into the Nova Customer portal at www.novanavigator.com and create sub-users under the 'Manage' tab.

  1. What is Nova Navigator?
    Nova Navigator is a simple, plug and play maintenance-free PC that provides office applications, desktop utilities, faster internet browsing, through a broadband internet connection.

  2. Can I use external peripherals like a CD/external CD ROM drive/printer/webcam/pendrive/mike/speaker?
    CD: Nova Navigator does not have an inbuilt CD drive. However it is possible to use an external CD ROM Drive. Any other USB mass storage device can also be used.
    Printer: Yes, please check the list of local printers provided in the SETTINGS menu of Nova Space or HELP menu. Webcam: Yes, web cam over Skype is possible from Nova Space.
    Thumbdrive: Yes, - You can save songs/movies on to your USB thumb drive and play it on the Nova Navigator. You just need to buy a computer speaker for this. All standard computer speakers would work.

  3. Can I load my own software?
    Yes, the service can be provided on the device by Novatium if the customer has an internal hard disk.

  4. Can I use the product if I shift my house out of this locality?
    Yes, provided you are in the feasibility area of TATA TELESERVICES LTD., for wireline broadband connectivity. However, we would recommend to have an internet speed of at least 256 kbps and above for a good performance on Nova Navigator.

  5. Can I use a Hard Disk Storage device with USB interface?
    Yes. All USB mass storage devices can be used.

  6. What is the warranty provided on Nova Navigator?
    Nova Navigator has a One Year Return to Bench warranty.

    Nova Navigator has got self healing capabilities. In case of any issues the moment Nova Navigator is connected to the server it will auto heal. So all issues can be addressed from server side, at the same time our toll free helpline is there to assist you (1800 425 6682).

  11. What is the configuration of Nova Navigator?
    Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 6 USB ports, HD Audio, Stereo, Line-in, Line-out, 10/100 Ethernet port, XVGA Display.

  12. How should the customer make the monthly subscription payment?
    Customers can make an online payment for the subscription through the Nova customer portal or use scratch cards from Novatium or Novatium authorised dealers.

  13. What is the billing cycle for Nova subscription charges?
    The billing cycle for Nova subscription charges would be 1st of every month to end of the month and recharged on a pre-paid basis. Any Nova subscription charge/recharge during any time of the month would be billed on pro-rate basis.

  14. What is the customer service numbers for contact?
    For any Nova service related complaints, you can call 1800 425 6682.

  15. Can you block internet and games during exams?
    Yes, the customer can login to the Novatium customer portal and block applications as per their choice. The customer can also login into the Nova Customer portal at www.novanavigator.com and create sub-users under the 'Manage' tab.

  16. Can multiple login IDs be created?
    Yes, up to five multiple login IDs can be created on Nova Navigator from the Nova customer portal.

  17. Can files be downloaded from the server even if I'm not available on Nova Navigator?
    Yes, the files on the server can be downloaded from the server by signing into the customer portal  www.novanavigator.com even if the customer is not signed into Nova Navigator.
