Charges for data usage during roaming:-
- Data charging on Photon plus while on-net roaming will be same as home network.
- Off-net roaming & International roaming not available on Tata Photon.
- Wi-Fi router hardware device has to be purchased separately.
- Above plans are strictly meant for personal usage and not meant for commercial usage such as use in Cyber cafes.
- TTL may additionally manage customers’ bandwidth at peak times to preserve the best experience for the greatest number of users.
- Tata DOCOMO reserves the right to review and apply network protection controls in case of excessive use of Non Tata DOCOMO internet based streaming services, peer to peer file sharing etc. The same is meant to safeguard the quality of service for other customers.
- If the fair usage limit exceeds or such use be detected:-
- Notice may be given and Network protection controls applied to ensure the quality and availability of our network to all customers.
- This may result in, at discretion of Tata DOCOMO, reduced speed of transmission, suspension of data browsing services and
- Usage of the above amounts will constitute misuse and TTL may monitor usage and withdraw the plan benefits from your account.
- ISD & roaming voice call charges as per existing default rates.
- For complete list of country-wise tariffs refer to existing default rates mentioned on the website Call to select few ROW3 countries & INMARSAT will not be allowed for Tata DOCOMO.
- All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction "circle registered office location" only.
- No other add on packs will be applicable on these plans.
- Data refers to total data transfer (Upload + Download.)
- The unutilized data limit cannot be carried forward to the next month.
- Call charges are calculated based on the call units ,which are calculated by dividing call duration by the pulse rate defined in the tariff plan.
- The call duration is measured with accuracy up to +/- 1 second as per TRAI regulation.
- In case any misuse or abuse of network is found , TTL reserves the right to suspend all services of the customer.

Q. What is Wi-Fi Hub main purpose unlike other routers?
A. Wi-Fi Hub is a portable Wi-Fi device that fits in the palm of your hand. It will allow you to connect up to 5 devices to access the Internet, such as laptops, portable game consoles or mobile phones.
Q. What networks does Wi-Fi Hub operate on?
A. Wi-Fi Hub operates on GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/CDMA 1X/CDMA EV-DO/HSPA.
Q. What kind of security is available with Wi-Fi Hub?
A. Wi-Fi Hub supports advanced Wi-Fi security protocol through standard methods such as Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA & WPA2) and the previous method of Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP). More advanced settings are available in the Web based user interface.
Q. What if the user forgets their Wi-Fi Hub password?
A. Wi-Fi Hub can be restored to the factory default settings by pressing the button 10 times continuously. The device will restart automatically to indicate reset is successful.
Q. What might the owner of Wi-Fi Hub need to be aware of before sharing with multiple devices?
A. With multiple devices or used as a temporary hotspot:
- If there are several heavy data users on at the same time, you may notice the degradation in performance.
- Users are not allowed to access more than 5 devices to Wi-Fi Hub in order to keep the devices’ data speed stable enough to be communicated without a problem.
- If all are accessing Wi-Fi Hub that is using the battery, the battery will be consumed faster than the average of 4 hours usage time for one user.
Q. Can a user connect Wi-Fi Hub to their computer with a USB cable?
A. Wi-Fi Hub can be charged when connected to a computer via USB cable, and no interferences to the device.
Q. Why does Wi-Fi Hub turn off automatically during using?
A. If Wi-Fi Hub operating temperature increases above 65?, the device will automatically shutdown to prevent any damage.
Q. Does Wi-Fi Hub support voice calls, fax and/or text messaging?
A. Wi-Fi Hub only support to receive text message.
Q. Can Wi-Fi Hub be used for memory storage?
A. Wi-Fi Hub does not support removable memory storage.
Q. How long does a user need to charge the battery before they begin using?
A. The battery must be fully charged before using Wi-Fi Hub for the first time. We recommend a minimum of 4 hours charging time before first use.
Q. Does Wi-Fi Hub require the software installation?
A. Wi-Fi Hub comes with a browser URL that allows the user to configure the device. You can activate, select a profile, establish security and set more advanced settings without installing any software.
Q. What if Wi-Fi Hub cannot access the internet even though the unit has been activated?
A. Verify your network & signal strength for optimal performance.
Q. When will a user of Wi-Fi Hub need to access Web GUI configuration interface?
A. The Web GUI configuration interface will only need to be accessed or used when configuring your device for the first time or changing the security settings or establishing more advanced settings.
