  1. To participate in the Contest, dial 58282 (toll free), activate free trial of any of the seven subscription based service(s) for a week and enter the slogan. After successful trial and submission of slogan, subscribe to the service which was used on trail and become eligible to win a Trip to Thailand, phones every week and silver and gold coins every day, on their slogan being selected as the best
  2. The Contest is open only to Indian citizens (individuals) residing in India aged 18 years or above, who are valid subscribers of Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL) or Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML) (TTSL and TTML hereinafter collectively referred to as “TTL”).
  3. The Contest is not open for employees, distributors, franchisees, agents and suppliers of TTL and also for the relatives of such employees, distributors, franchisees, agents, vendors and suppliers.
  4. The Contest is valid in all the telecom circles of TTSL and TTML, in India.
  5. The Contest shall run from Start date: 20 October’2010 End date: 20 November’2010 (hereinafter referred to as “Contest Period).
  6. The free trail of week is available on the following seven subscription services:
    • welcome tunes
    • jokes on sms
    • cricket on voice
    • news on sms,
    • music on voice
    • matrubhasha and
    • Movie Masala on voice
  7. For the trial of each subscription service, the subscriber has to record and submit a slogan - “I like Tata Indicom because” and agree to the subscription of the service which was used on trial for 30 days.
  8. The subscriber can continue to play the Contest against the trial of maximum seven subscription based service(s). The free trial can be done during any days of the Contest Period. Also the subscriber can submit only one slogan per trail service.
  9. The slogans submitted by the subscribers during a particular day will be evaluated on the 8th day from that day and the subscriber with best slogan shall become entitled to daily prize. Similarly the slogans submitted over a week will be evaluated in the next week and the subscriber with best slogan shall become entitled to weekly prize. The slogans submitted over the Contest Period will be evaluated at the end of the Contest Period and the subscriber with best slogan shall become entitled to bumper prize.
  10. The content of slogan will be evaluated by a panel of experts within TTL
  11. The prizes to the subscribers are in the interest of the subscribers. Since <58282> service is toll free, the charges paid by the subscribers are towards the subscription of the service & charge is collected from the subscribers towards the Contest in order to be eligible for Contest & complete the slogan.
  12. The prizes are sponsored by –TTL. The prizes shall consist of 1 daily prize every day, 1 weekly prize every week and 1 bumper prize.
    Daily prize – gold & silver coins
    Weekly prize – phones
    Bumper prize – trip to Thailand
  13. The winner/s shall be intimated within 45 days of conclusion of Contest by TTL by way of telecalling. In the event of no response from the concerned winner to the phone call, he will be intimated through registered post. If the concerned winner does not respond to the registered post communication within 10 days of the receipt of the post or if the registered post returns undelivered then his prize will be forfeited.
  14. The prize/s will be distributed within 45 days from the acknowledgement by the concerned winner of the communication from TTL regarding prizes as referred above. If the winner absents from taking the delivery of the prize and fails to collect the same from TTL within 75 days from the acknowledgement referred above, then his prize stands forfeited.
  15. The prize will be delivered by TTL through courier at the address of the winner, as appearing in the records of TTL. The logistics and cost of delivering the prizes will be borne by TTL. It is the responsibility of the subscriber participants to inform TTL of any change in the address of communication. In the event of the winner responding that he/she has changed the address of communication, the winner should submit proof of address change to TTL for the proper delivery of prize.
  16. The list of the winners will be posted on the tataindicom website
  17. The prizes are non-endorsable, not transferable and non-substitutable. The prize can be redeemed only once. Prize offered on 'NO EXCHANGE NO REFUND' basis.
  18. The prize/s will be given only to the winner/s in whose name the mobile phone number is registered. The winner needs to be the TTL active subscriber at the time of receipt of prize and winner should have cleared all the outstanding dues of TTL.
  19. To process redemption of prize, the winner should declare his name, address and provide proof of identity. Also the bumper prize winner should hold valid passport issued by Government of India and not refrained from travelling outside India.
  20. The expenses to be incurred by TTL relating to the trip to Thailand will include only air fare to and fro for two people.
  21. The travel for the winners will be scheduledbetween Jan 5th to March 5th 2011.
  22. Apart from the entitlement to the above prizes, the winner/s or their legal heirs will have no other rights or claims against TTL.
  23. TTL reserves the right to terminate, modify or extend this Contest at any time at its absolute discretion, with notice to the subscribers on Tata Indicom website.
  24. The Contest cannot be clubbed with any other offer.
  25. The prize/s shall be subject to the laws of India, including all the tax laws. All applicable regulatory and statutory duties, cess, surcharges, taxes (including TDS), insurances, transfer fees, registration fees etc. that may be applicable to avail/use the prize will be borne by the winner.
  26. TTL shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, terrorist attack, inevitable accidents, acts of God or any other circumstances amounting to Force Majeure.
  27. TTL shall not be responsible for any loss or damage if it has to discontinue or cancel this Contest in compliance with any law, ruling, order, regulation, requirement or instruction of any Central/State Government or for any other unavoidable reason beyond its control. The participants shall be informed of such discontinuance / cancellation as soon as possible, through the Tata Indicom website.
  28. The participation in this Contest implies unconditional acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Contest by the subscribers.
  29. The decision of TTL as to the interpretation of any of these terms and conditions shall be final and binding on the subscribers.
  30. Any disputes with regard to the Contest, will be subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
